Dr Shughrue obtained her medical degree in 1987 at UHSCOM in Kansas City, Missouri. She is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas and the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Fellow of The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Her goal is to combine the good old-fashioned values with technologic innovations of the 21st century in the treatment of her patients.
